Brooks Alternative Agency Inc. provides case management and community based-support services to disabled and elderly clients in the State of New Jersey. In Pennsylvania we provide skilled and non-skilled home care services in client’s home and in the community. The services we provide are provided by our trained Support Coordinators, Supported Employment, and Direct Support, Nursing, Patient Care Assistants, Home Health, or Certified Nurse Aides personnel.
Brooks Alternative Agency Inc. is operated by Sonji Brooks RN, MHA, MSN Ed, FN-CSANE. Sonji Brooks has been an active nurse and educator for over 20 years, providing care to the elderly, the disabled, and critically ill adults and children in New Jersey, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. In 2006, Sonji Brooks invested in Brooks Alternative Services in New Jersey and Brooks Alternative Technical School. Both businesses thrived while one educated thousands of home health aides, nurses, patient care technicians, phlebotomists, and medical assistants, the other staffed those educated in homes and agencies throughout New Jersey. In 2017, Brooks Alternative Services opened another division under Brooks Alternative Agency, providing support coordination to disabled individuals in Camden, Burlington, Mercer, Gloucester, and Salem County. In 2018, Brooks Alternative expanded to provide community-based support to individuals in Bergen, Cape May, Cumberland, Essex, Hudson, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Union, and Warren counties. In 2020, Sonji expanded her mission and vision to Philadelphia and surrounding counties and opened Brooks Alternative Agency providing skilled nursing and non-skilled services to adults.
